Background

An effective morning meeting not only sets a positive tone for the day but also helps keep everyone focused on the same goals. Successful dental practices benefit from having the entire staff meet consistently to share ideas, communicate information, identify problems, and find solutions. It’s important to ensure that these meetings are productive.

Recommendations

Dentists can create more effective and productive morning meetings by following a few simple steps. First, it’s important to make a schedule and stick to it. The optimal time is 15 to 20 minutes before the practice opens, and the meeting should last about 10 to 15 minutes. The meeting should occur somewhere away from the front desk area so that phones don’t disturb the proceedings.
